40 Meter Sailing Yacht Preliminary Design
This particular design is a direct result of a customer inspecting the 52-meter ketch Nazenin V. The design brief is obviously different: no raised pilothouse but a flybridge. The interior layout is completely open from the dining area to the aft salon bulkhead, more like a loft apartment. In addition the client requested a large number of cabins, five, as he has a large family who all like to sail. As a result the crew is fairly minimal for a yacht of this size.
